MARK HORNE
SENIORS COACH

Why did you sign on to coach this year?
It’s something I thought I’d always do and had interest in it and now I have been at the club for a few years I want to try and return it to a successful senior team for years to come.

What is your key focus heading into the 2024 season?
Focusing on implementing a new game plan and getting senior experience into our younger players coming through.

DEVELOPMENT COACH

Why did you sign on to coach this year?
On a personal level I believe I will enjoy it, I also felt that the club needs to transition players from juniors to senior football better and I felt I could help the club achieve that in the development role.

What is your key focus heading into the 2024 season?
Promoting a unified approach to seniors and development team, meaning both teams are invested in the success of both teams and really utilise the development team to actually developing young and new players to hopefully one day be good successful senior footballers.

What team are you looking forward to versing?
All of them

What players are the ones to watch in your team this year?
I’m looking forward to seeing all of them to be honest, hopefully see some growth in all players.
DANIEL SMITH
WOMENS COACH

Why did you sign on to coach this year?
After being engaged the last couple of years and building the rapport with the girls, I was inclined to stay involved and continue with providing assistance with development to return to being a competitive team.

What is your key focus heading into the 2024 season?
The key focus for the group this year is to fast track individual and team development, and play some good consistent footy.

What team are you looking forward to versing?
I’m looking forward to versing South’s, they had our number a couple of times last year and are also quite a young side. It will be great to see how we match up with them in the coming season!

What players are the ones to watch in your team this year?
We’ve done some recruiting this off season with players adding their experience from the NTFL, including some players joining us from Townsville and South Australia, as well as within the league. It’s great to have so many returning faces this season, from injuries to pregnancy, I’m looking forward to having each of the girls lace up the boots for the 2024 season.

DIV 3 COACH

Why did you sign on to coach this year?
Always liked the idea of coaching one day, coaching Division 3 is a good place to start before I end up coaching Geelong.

What is your key focus heading into the 2024 season?
Playing in the GF again whilst keeping it fun for the boys.

Name three values you wish your team will hold to this year.
The value of warming up to keep the soft tissue injuries down would be a good start. Having fun but also remaining competitive would be the other two.

What team are you looking forward to versing?
It was fun playing all the teams last season, will be good to play the new teams that come into the league.

What players are the ones to watch in your team this year?
Definitely not Jarrod – Someone to watch will be Brenna, will be great to have him back around the club. I’m saying him so he has to play.
JARROD POTTER
DIV 3 COACH

Why did you sign on to coach this year?
I’ve always had a liking for the strategic side of the game and with my illustrious career coming to an end I’d like to continue to be involved in the footy club and coaching has always interested me.

What is your key focus heading into the 2024 season?
Just for the lads to have fun and with that will come success as last year shown!

Name three values you wish your team will hold to this year.
To show a high respect for umpires as they are only doing a job no one else wants to do! To have fun but also want to win because there is nothing better than winners beers!

What team are you looking forward to versing?
Looking forward to playing the new teams that will enter this year but also looking forward to running it back with the masters side! We always had a good rivalry.

What players are the ones to watch in your team this year?
Baden Burke is one who’s put in a big pre season but also the return of Johnny dell heard big things about the little fella looking forward to seeing him in action.
